Scott Meek serves as the Environmental Health & Safety Manager for Green Bay Packaging Inc.’s Fiber Resource Division in Morrilton, Arkansas. With more than 28 years of experience as a professional forester in Arkansas and Mississippi, Scott has built a respected career dedicated to safety, sustainable forestry, and environmental stewardship.
Since joining Green Bay Packaging in 1998, Scott has held a variety of roles, including Landowner Assistance Forester, District Land Forester, Sustainability & Minerals Coordinator, and now Environmental Health & Safety Manager. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he supports the GBP Mill Operations Group with governmental affairs and community outreach initiatives. Scott is an Arkansas Registered Forester and actively represents the forest industry on numerous environmental and safety boards. His commitment to the Arkansas River Valley community includes serving on the Conway City Tree Board, the Conway County Economic Development Corporation, and the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a proud member of the Morrilton Rotary Club. Academically, Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. He and his wife, Mandy, relocated to Arkansas in 1998 and now reside in Conway. All three of their children are native Arkansans, and Scott enjoys serving in his church body and spending time with his family, especially his twin granddaughters. |
